Hmmm I don't think there's much I can do without more details :/ But try this: can you change the permissions of `Contents/MacOS/Rain on Your Parade Demo` to 755 ? Another user below (Fluffy) reported that worked for them.
This game is so much fun, I absolutely loved it! It's definitely got Untitled Goose Game and Donut County vibes which is great! The writing for the characters is very slapstick and super enjoyable! The game looks and plays so well, I am super pumped for the release of the full game, good job! :D Game play is below if interested :)

Yup, this game certainly does traverse a large amount of different styles, whilst still being a goofy funfest at its heart.
Take on the role of a cloud destined for the place all clouds want to be... Seattle! The city of eternal downpours! But on the way you must soak everyone you come across, to be the best nimbus you can be!
This means taking on many different tasks across many different levels, each with its own batch of tasks to be completed.
Essentially you ruin a load of people's day... and maybe kill a few folks? I dunno, maybe I just did that because I'm secretly a psychopath?
Anywho, this was a blast! I loved everything about this demo and I am super excited to see more!
This was absolutely fantastic. It reminds me of a lot of flash games I've played, and definitely Untitled Goose Game! I love how you get different powers and it's more level based. Each level is like a puzzle you can solve a few different ways. Being able to make your own cloud face was a great touch. Definitely wishlisted this, props to the developers!
My partner and I played this game together and had so much fun! It's chaotic puzzle time with some interesting physics. Played it with a keyboard and mouse and didn't get the controller to work but still was a pleasant surprise. Looking forward to a finish product! Keep up the great work!
This is such a unique and fun game that stands out from other games, the art style is beautiful,bright and really colourful and the game play is fluid and intuitive.
You play as a little cloud that seems so innocent but all you really want to do it cause havoc upon the lands you visit and engage in challenges to complete levels fully.The cloud itself is also customiseable and you can draw your own faces and add accessories ( the only downside is that only the default face animates)
The soundtrack is calming and has a sense of fun composed throughout the music and really fits the game and does not feel repetitive.
Overall this game is really enjoyable and fun to play and it will be interesting to see what else is in store when the game is fully released.
Ah man I will be playing this game whenever I have a rough day which is a lot! The game is great fun and I can't wait to see more! Made a short gameplay video but will be uploading my full demo playthrough in a few days.
Really enjoyed playing this game. You started out as the title suggested, rain on people parade or just plain be a pain in the sky lol. Then you become so much more... start a fire, toxic cloud, and gained the ability to lightning people down! Wish listed on steam. Excited for the full game!
I had a great time with that demo. i loved the gameplay and that you can costume your cloud.Cant wait for the game to come out. A legit 7/10 will play again :D
The macOS version doesn't want to launch, because there's a permissions problem with the executable file; the `Contents/MacOS/Rain on Your Parade Demo` file should be chmod 755 but it's 644. Fixing it is easy for people who know how, at least, but the zip needs to be created with a compression tool that knows how to preserve file permissions for macOS.
Ah the joys of developing a Mac build on Windows. Hmm I just used 7zip thought it'd handle it. We didn't have an issue with the Headliner mac version so I'm curious if it's Unity export that messed up?

Possibly a change to Unity, yeah. I've noticed a lot of newer indie games having this problem on itch lately.
